This is a nice little set of mixing bowls. They're lightweight, but still seem sturdy. The walls of the bowls are not at heavy as the set I bought 25 years ago, but then, what is? They seem like they'll hold up pretty well. The silicone bottoms are definitely a nice feature, giving you a non-slip grip on the counter while mixing. Nice profile on the shape of the bowl.I would agree with the listing that the lids would not be dishwasher safe. Though they seem to form a decently airtight seal when pressed into the top of the bowls, but they are very lightweight and would probably warp immediately if placed in the dishwasher. Hand wash only, for sure.The listing doesn't say anything about a colander, but my package included a colander that nests between the largest bowl and the next one down. Nice dense, consistent pattern of small round holes, should be very effective at draining water, and the edges have two handle lips on the edges.

I can't brag enough about this bowl set. Has every size I need with an easy seal lid. Strainer include as we! High quality and great value for price!
